Three places language matters in a pet store
- 1The register screen. Per staff login. A new hire who reads Urdu more easily than English gets Urdu.
- 2The receipt. Choose the receipt language and layout; bilingual layouts are common in the UAE.
- 3Your online store and messages. Product names and descriptions in the language your customers search in.
Language questions
Which languages can the POS run in?
The interface ships with many translations, including English, Spanish, Arabic, Urdu, French, Turkish, Hindi, Chinese and more, and you can edit any translation so the screen uses the words your staff use.
Can each staff member choose their language?
Yes. Language is a per-user setting, so one cashier can work in Urdu while the owner reads reports in English.
Do Arabic and Urdu display right to left?
Yes. Right-to-left languages switch the layout direction, not just the text.
Can receipts be printed in Arabic or Urdu?
Yes. Receipt and invoice layouts can use the language you choose, and product names can be entered in that script. Many UAE stores print bilingual Arabic and English receipts.
Can I change words the software uses?
Yes. Custom translations let you replace any label — for example call “Contacts” “Pet parents”.
Is this website available in other languages?
Yes: the home, pricing and contact pages are in Spanish, Arabic and Urdu, with more pages to follow.
Do you offer support in Arabic and Urdu?
Our UAE team supports Arabic and English, and our Pakistan team supports Urdu and English, mostly over WhatsApp.
Can product names be in two languages?
Enter the name the way you want it to appear — many stores use English plus Arabic or Urdu in the product name or description.
