Privacy policy

Last updated 18 October 2026

This policy explains what personal data SOHOON Technologies (“we”), operator of GetPetStorePOS, collects through getpetstorepos.com and the GetPetStorePOS software, why, and the choices you have. We wrote it to be read, not skimmed past.

Who we are

GetPetStorePOS is operated by SOHOON Technologies. For privacy questions, use the privacy contact on our contact page (the “Show email” button) or the contact form with the topic “privacy”.

What we collect

  • Website forms: your name, email, phone or WhatsApp number, store name, country and message when you request a demo, apply as a partner or contact us.
  • Attribution: campaign parameters such as utm_source or gclid that were in the link you arrived from, stored in your browser and sent with a form so we know which campaign brought you.
  • Analytics (only with consent): pages viewed and approximate location through Google Analytics 4, if you allow analytics in the cookie banner.
  • Software account data: when you use the POS, your business data — products, sales, staff logins and your customers’ details that you choose to record. For that customer data, you are the controller and we process it on your behalf.
  • Security data: Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a form was sent by a person; it may process technical signals such as IP address.

How we use it

  • To reply to you, arrange demos and provide the software.
  • To keep forms free of spam.
  • To understand which pages and campaigns are useful (analytics, only with consent).
  • To meet legal and tax obligations.
  • We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for advertising profiles.

Who we share it with

  • Service providers that run parts of our service: Cloudflare (hosting, security), our CRM (HighLevel) for enquiries, a team notification tool, and Google Analytics if you consent. Each processes data for us under their terms.
  • Authorities, where the law requires it.
  • A buyer of our business, if that ever happens, under the same protections.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiries: up to 24 months after our last contact, unless you become a customer.
  • Customer accounts: while your account is active, then 30 days after cancellation before deletion, except records we must keep for tax.
  • Analytics: according to the retention set in Google Analytics (14 months).

Your rights

  • Everyone: ask for a copy of your data, a correction or deletion, and withdraw consent to analytics at any time via “Cookie settings”.
  • California (CCPA/CPRA): right to know, delete, correct and to opt out of sale or sharing — we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context advertising. We will not treat you differently for using your rights.
  • Other US states with privacy laws: equivalent rights apply where they cover us.
  • UAE (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021, PDPL): rights of access, correction, erasure, restriction and objection, subject to the law’s conditions.
  • Pakistan: we apply the same rights to Pakistani users and follow applicable law, including the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act 2016, and will update this policy as data protection legislation is enacted.
  • Use the data request page to make a request. We reply within 30 days (45 for California where allowed).

Security

HTTPS everywhere, access controls, daily backups and secrets kept out of our code. No system is perfectly secure; we will tell affected users promptly if a breach affects their data. More on the security page.

International transfers

Our providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States and the European Union. We rely on their contractual safeguards.

Children

This site and the software are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.

Changes

We will update the date above when this policy changes and highlight important changes on this page.
