Import products from a CSV file

Bring in your whole catalogue — including sizes and flavours — from a spreadsheet or another POS.

Before you start

  • An export from your old POS or a spreadsheet
  • Columns for name, SKU or barcode, price, cost, stock and category

Steps

  1. 1Download the template. Products › Import Products › download the sample file.
  2. 2Copy your data in. Paste your columns into the template. Keep one row per variation (e.g. 4 lb, 15 lb, 30 lb).
  3. 3Mark expiry products. Fill the expiry columns for food and treats if you track best-by dates.
  4. 4Upload. Upload the file; the import reports any row it could not read.
  5. 5Check a few items. Search a few products and ring a test sale.

Tips

  • Barcodes must be unique — fix duplicates before importing.
  • Send us the file if you prefer; our onboarding team imports it for free.
